Well, the heat wave has come & gone to some extent. We've been lucky...no big wind, thunder, lightening, rain storms like south of us. Had parents calling left & right to check on their children here at camp. Many were relieved to hear we had a little rain & some small thunder.
Celebrated M's 7th b-day today. He had some friends to Loon Lake & they swam & had cake & goodies. It was fun to see the kids all together in the water. Even some of his friends from camp came. He even got a hair cut at Sizzors of OZ this morning. Now his own version of a haircut looks good. Thank goodness for Carolyn.
K's been busy at work in the day care. She's also been gone quite a lot w/ friends. In 18 more days she figures she can drive w/ us all the time. I dont' think so. She's got other things to do then drive around w/ Matt & I in our vehicles. Although, Matt's been letting her drive quite a bit w/ him back & forth to the folks house & to Devon's pit.
E's got her schedule for KMS. On the team we wanted. I guess they didn't want to deal w/ me if they put her on the other. She's got some classes w/ K & K. She's getting a bit nervous, but I think she'll be okay. We'll just have to be on top of things to make sure she doesn't slip behind or feel that she has no voice in the new school. Got to get her some decent clothes & sneakers too. Plus, I think she needs cleats for soccer. E's not going to do band-thank goodness I didn't like that choice for her anyway. Rather see tha she get some help at that time if she needs it.
T's nose was a bit out of sorts this morning. B-day presents & he couldn't play with them for a week. How easily he forgets that M couldn't play w/ his stuff for a week. Oh well. They were both playing with some sort of race car thing when I went home at dinner to drop off pizza. No fighting as of yet...at least no phone calls from home that there's a problem.
Anyhoo...Hucksters & Candlelight tonight.
